Welcome
to the Four Winds Ranch
Let us steal you away to a past time.
It is a time of living in harmony with nature.
A time when humankind was not a discordant note in the
living song of life.
It is a time we need to remember in our dusty, heart
locked society.
We need a new start. We need to come together to feed
the flame of life in our battered Mother Earth.
Our Ranch is a place of multicultural exchange; A
place of mutual understanding and of equality. We offer
you a chance to experience something unique and truly
enjoyable - to walk the road less traveled.
Relax! Come with us on a journey into the land of the
Lakota; into the heart of the Dream Catcher Mountain;
Paha Sapa, the Black Hills.
When you experience something this true Cathedral of
Nature, you will understand why the Paha Sapa, this place
of holy antiquity is so sacred to the Northern Plains
People.
Tumpling rivers and tranquil lakes invite you to cast
your line into a dawn touched pool, or splash the heat
away in a clear mountain lake or to dream through the
night lulled by the song of a whispering stream.
Let the red rays of the setting sun etch the memory of
these pine covered granite peaks into your heart.
It is a memory you will earny always.
Time will roll back as you watch the last of the great
buffalo heards graze the prarie grasses.
The prariedog towns offer a chance to observe the
antics of these feisty townfolk
ou will thrill to the song of the coyotes under the
moonlit sky.
Step out of the monotone fantasy of the western movies
into the reality of the wild west!
As you hear and feel the beat of the great drums and
fill your eyes with color and dance of a Pow Wow you may
come to know the fascination we share in this beatiful
living culture of the First Americans.
So, be our guest in this land of never ending sky, of
the Dream Catcher Mountains and the great rolling
praries. We offer you the chance to take back the memory
of this sacred place, the feeling of oneness of life, a
seed of something good to live for.
We would like to leave you with these words of an old
friend when he said:
What would you see, my friend if I would cut
off my hand ?
What would you see if you cut off your hand ?
What would you see inside ?
Itīs blood. What color does it have ?
Are we not all red inside ?
